Class offering at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts 101 Abney St. Gvl., SC.

Seven members of the Contemporary Print Collective among other regional printmakers will have their prints exhibited at the Transylvania County Arts Council at 349 Caldwell St. in Brevard, NC. There is a reception for the exhibit of printmaking this  Friday, Sept. 23 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. The exhibit of prints will run through Oct. 21. www.tcarts.org
The CPC artists are Steven Chapp, Jim Creal, Addam Duncan, Catherine Labbe', Phil Garrett, Freda Sue and Virginia Yearick.

The Contemporary Print Collective (CPC) of Greenville, SC will hold their first original fine art print fair this Oct. 21 and 22, 2016. Nineteen Upstate South Carolina printmakers will be selling their original prints. Original prints varying media of etchings, woodcuts, wood engravings and linoleum relief prints, lithography, monotypes, monoprints, and  screenprints will be available for sale.
PRINT FOLIO GIVEAWAY!!! Every individual’s purchase of a work of art will increase their chances to win a portfolio of prints. Participating artists have donated original prints for this event. EVERY purchase increases your odds of winning! The original works will be presented in a 14" x 11" archival clam shell folio box to the winner. The drawing for the folio of prints will be on Sat. Oct. 22^nd  at 3pm. You do not have to be present to win. This is a great way to start a fantastic collection of original hand pulled prints of various print media. The folio will be worth several thousand dollars retail! Credit cards & cash are accepted.
 The CPC Print Fair will be held at the Greenville Center for the Creative Arts at 25 Draper Street, Greenville, SC.
Dates are Friday Oct. 21 for the Gala opening from 5pm - 9pm. Saturday from 10am until 4pm. Please check out our CPC website and Facebook page.

This Saturday July 9th and Saturday July 16 from 9 am -12 pm I am teaching a class in dry point using acrylic plates for the matrix.
We will work on a 5 x 7 plate and explore the use of Chine colle'

The Contemporary Print Collective is a group of printmakers in in the Upstate of South Carolina. This traveling and educational exhibit features 15 artists from Anderson, Pickens, Greenville and Spartanberg counties. The works represent the print media or relief- linocut, woodcut and wood engraving, intaglio- dry point and photopolymer plate, lithography, screenprinting and collagraph prints.
I will be giving a print demo at P.C. on the afternoon of Sept. 26th from 3-5 pm.
